When They Say “STOP,” They Really Mean It!
As you regulars know, I have posted about the problem of train/car collisions at grade crossings on several occasions. But THIS has to be the ultimate grade crossing!
The one and only runway at the Gibralter Airport intersects with a main road that connects two parts of the town on the peninsula.
When the gates come down and the lights start flashing, you sure as hell had better stop!
This makes my skin crawl, Jim. I was an airfield manager for three years in the Air Force and the worst part of the job was vehicles crossing the runway.
