Why we love train travel?
To me, train travel evokes thoughts back at an era when trains were often the scene of Hollywood romance, wartime intrigue, and criminal enterprise. The mystery and murder on the Orient Express to the hunt on the Night Train To Munich can be dreamily relived as we rock gently along the rails.
Trains can also take us where no other conveyance can. Over hills and deep into valley’s, through town’s, villages and through the backyards of much of the globe giving us a glimpse of life and the wonders of the world that can only be seen on the rails.
