Taking A Couple Of Days Off

 My wife and I have been retired and living on Maui for 16 years, but most of our very good friends are still on Oahu. With a little more than 100 miles of ocean separating us, we don’t see them nearly as often as we’d like. And so, this weekend we’re indulging ourselves with a brief visit to Honolulu. We’ll stay at one of my favorite hotels in Waikiki—it’s there on the far right of this photo—where we’ll host a dinner for a number of those friends and their spouses. I’ll post about the evening on Monday, including something about a few of the interesting people who were there. Mahalo.
