Amtrak’s New Chicago Lounge.

Amtrak has just opened its brand new Metropolitan Lounge in Chicago’s Union Station. There is no doubt that a newer and much larger facility has been needed for years. With several long-distance trains departing every day within a few hours of each other, the old facility was badly overtaxed.
 
The new Metropolitan Lounge is bigger. A lot bigger. Twice the size of the old place and able to accommodate three times as many people.
 
One word: Wow!
 
Two words: About time!
