Winnipeg to Toronto: a Few Photos.
There is a lounge car with a dome at the end of every one of VIA Rail’s long- distance trains. There was so much blowing snow on this trip, however, the view was often less than perfect.
We waited for more than an hour on a siding until–finally!–this CN freight came lumbering by.
This morning we learned where all the serious snow is. It’s here in Ontario.
Around mid-morning, the sun came out as we passed literally hundreds of lakes … all frozen over.
The lounge area in the Park Car at the end of our train. But–seriously–how can you have a Bloody Mary if the bar doesn’t open until 11:00 a.m.?
Bloody Mary, is that some kind of breakfast? ;)
