P.S.: A Texas Eagle Afterthought

I forgot to mention in yesterday’s post about my ride on the Texas Eagle that no one ever took my ticket. It’s the first time that has ever happened to me on my many Amtrak rides. All sleeping car passengers are listed on a manifest along with accommodation assignments, but still … Kinda strange, eh?
